Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to assist customers with inquiries and ensure their satisfaction. You will play a key role in supporting housing programs and maintaining high service standards.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide courteous and empathetic assistance to customers, striving to resolve inquiries during the first interaction.<br>• Develop a thorough understanding of Low Income Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Program policies to address customer concerns effectively.<br>• Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.<br>• Maintain customer service ratings in alignment with established benchmarks and guidelines.<br>• Participate in mandatory training sessions to stay updated on organizational policies and procedures.<br>• Utilize approved scripts and protocols to determine appropriate resolutions or escalate issues to management when necessary.<br>• Accurately input call details and customer interactions into the organization's database.
• Previous experience in a call center or customer service role.<br>• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey empathy and professionalism.<br>• Proficiency in handling both inbound and outbound calls.<br>• Ability to manage data entry tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with housing programs or government services is a plus.<br>• Capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Commitment to maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
