Human Resources (HR) Assistant
<p>Robert Half is looking for an experienced and bilingual Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our client in Reno, Nevada. This Contract-to-permanent position focuses on supporting HR operations for production and field staff while ensuring full compliance with Nevada employment laws. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing employee lifecycle processes, maintaining accurate records, and fostering employee engagement through various programs and initiatives. Interested candidates must be bilingual in English & Spanish, if interested please apply today!</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, terminations, and promotions, while adhering to Nevada-specific labor laws.</p><p>• Coordinate employee schedules, timekeeping, and compliance with meal and rest break regulations.</p><p>• Maintain and update employee records and shift assignments using HR systems.</p><p>• Ensure secure management of confidential employee files and compliance with privacy standards.</p><p>• Conduct orientation sessions, ensuring new hires are informed about wage theft notices, sick leave policies, and harassment prevention training.</p><p>• Support managers and upper leadership with scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks.</p><p>• Plan and execute employee engagement activities, such as training sessions, town halls, and team-building events.</p><p>• Provide technical support for HR platforms, including troubleshooting and training end-users.</p><p>• Assist in organizational projects, ensuring all processes align with Nevada regulatory requirements.</p>
<p>• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.</p><p>• Proficiency in HR administration, including onboarding and employee relations.</p><p>• Experience with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of Nevada employment laws and compliance standards.</p><p>• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.</p><p>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present updates confidently.</p><p>• Experience coordinating employee engagement programs and events.</p>
