We are looking for an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal with at least five years of relevant experience to join our team fully on-site in Red Bank, NJ. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position that offers a great opportunity for professionals with a strong background in litigation and case management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently while demonstrating expertise in insurance defense processes. Responsibilities:• Handle a caseload of 80-90 insurance defense litigation cases, ensuring timely and accurate management of all assigned files.• Prepare and manage discovery documents, including organizing and reviewing materials for litigation purposes.• E-file legal documents with NJ state and federal courts, adhering to procedural requirements and deadlines.• Assist in trial preparation by coordinating exhibits, drafting legal documents, and supporting attorneys during court proceedings.• Utilize case management software to track deadlines, filings, and correspondence effectively.• Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals to ensure seamless execution of litigation strategies.• Use available templates and resources to streamline document creation and case management processes.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance defense litigation practices and federal court procedures.• Take ownership of assigned files, ensuring all aspects of the case are managed efficiently and professionally.

• Minimum of five years of experience as a paralegal specializing in insurance defense litigation.• Familiarity with NJ state and federal court e-filing processes.• Proficiency in discovery processes and civil litigation procedures.• Strong trial preparation skills, including drafting and organizing legal documents.• Advanced knowledge of case management software and legal technology tools.• Ability to manage a high volume of cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Federal court experience is preferred but not required.
