We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing daily accounting operations while leading a team of professionals. This position requires strong expertise in SaaS industry practices, global accounting processes, and technical accounting standards, ensuring the organization maintains compliance and efficiency.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all functions.<br>• Lead a team of six direct reports and oversee a combined team of 17 accounting professionals.<br>• Drive the year-end audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.<br>• Provide technical accounting guidance related to ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition standards.<br>• Collaborate on tax-related matters and offer strategic input on complex accounting issues.<br>• Handle intercompany accounting processes, including transfer pricing and foreign exchange transactions.<br>• Ensure compliance with global accounting standards for a multinational organization.<br>• Utilize NetSuite to streamline and optimize accounting processes and reporting.<br>• Support initiatives related to financial audits and external reporting requirements.<br>• Partner with leadership to uphold financial integrity in a private equity-backed environment.

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, including leadership roles.<br>• Extensive experience in the SaaS industry, with a deep understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition.<br>• Proficiency in NetSuite for accounting and financial management.<br>• Strong knowledge of global accounting practices, including transfer pricing and foreign exchange.<br>• CPA designation required.<br>• Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.<br>• Experience working within private equity-backed organizations is a plus.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
