Accounts Payable Clerk
<p>Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable & Administrative Clerk to join our client in Portland, Oregon. This part time open ended contract position is ideal for individuals with a background in accounting and administrative tasks, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations. The role includes both hybrid work flexibility and part-time hours.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.</p><p>• Enter and update financial data into relevant systems, maintaining precise and organized records.</p><p>• Review and verify invoices for approval, resolving any discrepancies promptly.</p><p>• Utilize software tools such as NetSuite and bill.com to streamline invoice and payment processes.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members and vendors to address payment inquiries and ensure smooth operations.</p><p>• Maintain detailed documentation of transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.</p><p>• Assist with administrative tasks related to accounting functions, as needed.</p><p>• Support the implementation of system updates to improve efficiency in financial workflows.</p><p>• Monitor payment schedules and deadlines to ensure timely disbursements.</p><p>• Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding accounts payable activities.</p>
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing with exceptional attention to detail.<br>• Experience using accounting software, particularly NetSuite and bill.com.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.<br>• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial documentation.<br>• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments.<br>• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with part-time hours.
