We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA on a contract basis. In this role, you will be an integral part of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting. Responsibilities:• Oversee PDI Point of Sale system (experience required)•Oversee daily accounting functions, ensuring all transactions are accurate and comply with internal policies.• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports to support decision-making.• Collaborate on month-end and year-end closing processes, including external audits and tax filings.• Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure adherence to financial regulations.• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support organizational goals.• Perform account reconciliation, journal entries, and bank reconciliations as needed.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• PDI Point of Sale system• At least 5 years of accounting experience• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
