Office Manager
We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join a solo attorney's practice in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for managing office operations, handling billing and bookkeeping, and supporting legal tasks such as transcription and e-filing. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days remote.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and organization.<br>• Handle billing and bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable.<br>• Perform legal transcription tasks based on dictated notes and ensure accuracy through proofreading.<br>• Manage electronic filing of legal documents using Abacus software.<br>• Order and maintain office supplies to support smooth workflow.<br>• Serve as the primary receptionist, managing phone calls and client inquiries.<br>• Provide administrative support for civil litigation, business matters, personal injury, corporate, and domestic cases.<br>• Coordinate schedules and deadlines to support the attorney's practice.<br>• Ensure proper record-keeping and organization of case files.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in office management or a related administrative role.<br>• Proficiency in billing and bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable.<br>• Experience with transcription and proofreading, with a strong attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with e-filing legal documents and the Abacus software.<br>• Ability to manage office supplies and maintain inventory.<br>• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.<br>• Excellent communication skills to handle receptionist duties and client interactions.<br>• Knowledge of civil litigation, business, personal injury, corporate, and domestic law is a plus.
