Senior Benefits Specialist
<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Benefits Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves overseeing the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and utilizing HRIS systems to optimize processes and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in benefits management, HRIS, and a strong analytical mindset to support organizational goals.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of benefits-related data within HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Configure and enhance HRIS functionalities to support benefits programs, including open enrollment and ongoing updates.</p><p>• Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert for benefits, providing training and guidance to team members.</p><p>• Conduct detailed audits of benefits data to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.</p><p>• Monitor employee benefit enrollments and payroll deductions, addressing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration.</p><p>• Assist in the design, implementation, and communication of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.</p><p>• Coordinate the annual open enrollment process and address employee benefit inquiries effectively.</p><p>• Generate and analyze benefits-related reports to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.</p><p>• Provide actionable insights from data analysis to support strategic decision-making.</p>
• Extensive experience in managing and administering employee benefits programs.<br>• Proficiency in HRIS systems for data management and reporting.<br>• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements related to benefits, including FMLA and other relevant regulations.<br>• Ability to conduct audits and ensure data integrity within benefits systems.<br>• Expertise in configuring and optimizing HRIS functionalities for benefits administration.<br>• Skilled in analyzing benefits data and preparing insightful reports.<br>• Excellent communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with internal teams.<br>• Previous experience coordinating open enrollment processes and benefits-related initiatives.
