Office Assistant
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Okemos, Michigan. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations by providing administrative and clerical support. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking and have strong communication skills to manage office tasks efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring an attentive and welcoming environment.<br>• Handle incoming calls, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.<br>• Manage document scanning and filing to maintain accurate and accessible records.<br>• Perform general clerical tasks, such as data entry and correspondence management.<br>• Support human resources administration by assisting with onboarding and maintaining employee records.<br>• Organize and maintain paper filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.<br>• Utilize Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel to complete administrative tasks.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support office operations and ensure efficiency.
• Proven experience in receptionist or administrative roles.<br>• Proficiency in document scanning and electronic filing systems.<br>• Strong ability to manage inbound calls and provide excellent customer service.<br>• Familiarity with clerical duties, including data entry and record management.<br>• Knowledge of human resources administration processes is a plus.<br>• Competency in using Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel for office tasks.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
