<p>Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis for 3–6 months. This position is based in the Ogden Utah area and involves critical tasks such as managing balance sheet reconciliations and overseeing revenue recognition for construction projects under industry standards. If you have a strong background in manufacturing or project-based accounting and excel at analytical work, this role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Reconstruct and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, inventory, and fixed assets.</p><p>• Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance with industry standards.</p><p>• Execute revenue recognition processes for construction projects, adhering to established guidelines.</p><p>• Prepare and manage journal entries, conduct account analyses, and generate variance reports.</p><p>• Optimize reconciliation workflows and assist with audit preparations.</p><p>• Collaborate with operational teams to analyze and manage project cost data.</p><p><br></p>

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a preference for backgrounds in manufacturing or project-based accounting.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.<br>• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations and construction project revenue recognition under applicable standards.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SyteLine, Oracle, or NetSuite.<br>• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
