Paralegal
We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable Paralegal to join our team in Oakland, California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in civil litigation and possess the ability to quickly learn and adapt to established workflows. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals eager to expand their legal expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including organizing and reviewing relevant documentation.<br>• Manage case files and ensure efficient tracking through case management software.<br>• Prepare for trials by coordinating materials, documents, and exhibits.<br>• Handle court filings, including e-filing and physical submissions, in compliance with legal requirements.<br>• Conduct legal research and compile findings to support litigation efforts.<br>• Maintain clear communication with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.<br>• Organize and maintain litigation-related documentation to ensure accessibility and accuracy.<br>• Provide administrative support during hearings and depositions.<br>• Ensure consistent adherence to legal procedures and deadlines.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paralegal or in a related legal role.<br>• Proficiency in handling civil litigation processes and documentation.<br>• Familiarity with discovery procedures and trial preparation.<br>• Experience with case management software and e-filing systems.<br>• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.<br>• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and workflows.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in legal documentation.
