We are looking for an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join our team in Oakland, California. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to handle complex cases, provide strategic counsel, and contribute to the growth of a well-established mid-sized law firm. Depending on your experience and book of business, this position is open at the Partner level or Senior Associate level with a clear pathway to partnership.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage all stages of construction litigation cases, including dispute resolution, discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.<br>• Offer strategic legal advice on a variety of construction-related issues, such as contract disputes, defect claims, delay claims, payment disputes, and liability matters.<br>• Conduct thorough legal research, prepare compelling legal briefs, and deliver persuasive oral arguments.<br>• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure effective communication and exceptional service.<br>• Mentor and oversee less experienced attorneys and support staff to foster growth and maintain high standards.<br>• Lead business development efforts to expand the firm's client base and reinforce its market reputation.

• JD degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.<br>• A minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation, with substantial expertise in construction defect cases, contract law, real estate defense litigation, and insurance coverage.<br>• Demonstrated success in litigating complex construction disputes to favorable outcomes.<br>• Exceptional legal writing skills for drafting motions, briefs, and correspondence.<br>• Strong attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple assignments from start to finish.<br>• Superior analytical and research abilities to navigate complex legal issues.<br>• Proven ability to mentor less experienced attorneys and build collaborative relationships with clients.<br>• A portable book of business is a valuable asset but not required.
