Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Oakdale, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to oversee critical financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and a proven ability to handle complex accounting tasks with precision.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data.<br>• Oversee general ledger activities, including posting journal entries and maintaining accurate account balances.<br>• Conduct financial statement audits, preparing necessary documentation and collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance.<br>• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Utilize software tools such as Blackbaud Altru and Raiser's Edge NXT to streamline accounting operations.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes align with business objectives.<br>• Maintain adherence to accounting standards and regulations, implementing best practices across all financial activities.<br>• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level accounting staff, fostering growth and development within the team.
• Proven experience in accounting management, with expertise in month-end close processes.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger activities and financial statement preparation.<br>• Familiarity with financial audits and ability to collaborate effectively with auditors.<br>• Proficiency in account reconciliation and identifying discrepancies.<br>• Solid understanding of journal entries and their impact on financial reporting.<br>• Experience using Blackbaud Altru and Raiser's Edge NXT software.<br>• Excellent analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach to financial data.<br>• Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and support team members.
