Responsibilities: • Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data. • Oversee general ledger activities, including posting journal entries and maintaining accurate account balances. • Conduct financial statement audits, preparing necessary documentation and collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance. • Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. • Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. • Utilize software tools such as Blackbaud Altru and Raiser's Edge NXT to streamline accounting operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes align with business objectives. • Maintain adherence to accounting standards and regulations, implementing best practices across all financial activities. • Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level accounting staff, fostering growth and development within the team.
