We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Norton Shores, Michigan. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that products, services, and processes meet established standards of quality, safety, and performance. By leveraging your expertise, you will help uphold compliance, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement. This role is 100% onsite, 7am-4pm, M-F. Responsibilities:• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform quality checks and ensure adherence to testing protocols.• Document inspection results and testing outcomes accurately, maintaining detailed reports for compliance and future reference.• Monitor manufacturing processes and production lines to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer expectations.• Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and managers to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions.• Communicate quality standards and provide training to relevant departments to enhance understanding and adherence.• Suggest and implement improvements to workflows and processes to minimize errors and optimize product or service quality.• Partner with QA teams and other departments to ensure consistent application of quality control procedures.• Maintain and update department records in alignment with organizational standards.• Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance and customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies. • Familiarity with quality standards and frameworks such as ISO 9001. • Proficiency in using tools and equipment for inspections and testing. • Excellent documentation and reporting skills. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Enterprise and other relevant software. • Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.
