<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Controller to join our team in North Richland Hills, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position is ideal for an experienced financial expert with expertise in general ledger management, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. This is a contract-to-hire position. Hybrid work schedule: Tuesday-Thursday in office.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Contract-to-hire Controller:</u></strong></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage and oversee the execution of a 5-day month-end close process, ensuring reports are reviewed and submitted to the parent company within the required timeline.</p><p>• Conduct thorough reviews of organizational controls, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Act as the primary escalation point for inquiries related to the general ledger, providing guidance and resolution.</p><p>• Offer cross-functional support for accounts receivable and accounts payable subledgers to streamline operations.</p><p>• Address and resolve existing backlogs, including delayed intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations.</p><p>• Collaborate with teams to finalize control systems and improve overall financial processes.</p><p>• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they meet audit and compliance standards.</p><p>• Provide technical expertise in Infor (Webvue), Onestream, and Excel to optimize reporting and data analysis.</p>

<p>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on general ledger and subledger management.</p><p>• Proven expertise in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.</p><p>• Strong background in account reconciliations and controls, with an emphasis on compliance and accuracy.</p><p>• Familiarity with distribution, retail, or industrial sectors.</p><p>• Proficiency in using Infor (Webvue), Onestream, and advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables.</p><p>• Solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and audit procedures.</p><p>• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday.</p><p>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and improve processes.</p>
