Bookkeeper
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic construction environment while expanding your skills in accounting and administrative management. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and administrative tasks, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities such as payroll and HR-related duties.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.<br>• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records using QuickBooks.<br>• Handle administrative tasks, including scanning invoices, organizing receipts, and supporting project managers.<br>• Utilize Procore software to assist with construction accounting and project documentation.<br>• Maintain and update payroll systems while ensuring compliance with HR policies.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and efficient workflow.<br>• Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.<br>• Support human resources activities, such as employee onboarding and documentation.<br>• Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and accounting procedures.<br>• Provide general office management support when needed.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.<br>• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.<br>• Experience with Procore or similar construction accounting software.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to manage payroll and HR-related tasks effectively.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus.
