With a demonstrated history of organizational stability, this role also provides clear opportunities for promotion and professional development as part of the client’s commitment to fostering long-term career growth.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all entries align with organizational standards.</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with accounting principles.</li><li>Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.</li><li>Handle grant accounting, including monitoring expenditures and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.</li><li>Support audits by preparing required documentation and responding to inquiries.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline accounting processes.</li><li>Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.</li></ul><p>For more information please contact Jerome Johnson at jerome.johnson@roberthalf com</p>

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.<br>• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities.<br>• Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliation.<br>• Experience conducting bank reconciliations with attention to detail.<br>• Knowledge of grant accounting principles and compliance requirements.<br>• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br>• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
