Administrative Assistant
<p>We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Part Time Administrative Assistant to join a non-profit organization in Norfolk, Virginia. This is a contract position where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations and supporting the team with various administrative tasks. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for multitasking, this opportunity is perfect for you.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Handle incoming calls professionally, directing inquiries to appropriate team members or departments.</p><p>• Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update organizational records.</p><p>• Provide administrative support for office operations, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.</p><p>• Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors and managing receptionist duties.</p><p>• Assist with organizing and maintaining office supplies and equipment to ensure seamless daily operations.</p><p>• Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other documents as needed.</p><p>• Coordinate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and administrative processes run smoothly.</p><p>• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.</p>
• Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role.<br>• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively handling calls and correspondence.<br>• Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Ability to manage receptionist duties, including welcoming visitors and handling inquiries.<br>• Familiarity with office equipment and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.<br>• High level of discretion and professionalism when managing sensitive information.
