VP of Finance
We are looking for an experienced VP of Finance to lead and enhance our financial operations in Newark, Delaware. This leadership role requires strategic oversight, collaboration across departments, and a commitment to driving financial excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a forward-thinking approach, and the ability to foster innovation within the finance and IT teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Collaborate with the management team to deliver financial analyses and actionable recommendations that support business improvement initiatives.<br>• Cultivate a customer-focused mindset within teams, fostering cross-functional partnerships to optimize service delivery.<br>• Strengthen the finance and IT departments by recruiting top talent, providing leadership development, and promoting a culture of performance and innovation.<br>• Develop and implement pricing strategies in partnership with senior management to enhance the company’s financial outcomes.<br>• Monitor and analyze market trends to assess their impact on product demand, pricing strategies, and costs related to materials and labor.<br>• Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Lead month-end closing processes while maintaining accuracy and adherence to financial reporting standards.<br>• Drive effective cash flow forecasting and cost control measures to maintain financial stability.<br>• Ensure compliance with GAAP and US GAAP accounting principles in all financial activities.
• Extensive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in a VP or Director capacity.<br>• Proven expertise in annual budgeting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.<br>• Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting and cost control processes.<br>• CPA certification is highly preferred.<br>• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and US GAAP accounting standards.<br>• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic pricing models.<br>• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly desired.<br>• Exceptional leadership and team development skills with a focus on fostering innovation.
