We are looking for a detail-oriented Scanner to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position that requires an individual skilled in document management and organization. The role focuses on creating efficient digital filing systems while ensuring accurate data entry and file preservation.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Operate scanning equipment to convert physical documents into digital formats.<br>• Organize, label, and maintain accurate records of scanned files.<br>• Perform data entry tasks to ensure proper documentation and file indexing.<br>• Verify the quality and completeness of scanned documents.<br>• Manage and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines effectively.<br>• Provide back-office support by maintaining the integrity of digital filing systems.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline file management processes.<br>• Follow established procedures for handling confidential information.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with scanning equipment as needed.<br>• Ensure compliance with organizational policies regarding document handling.
• At least 1 year of experience in scanning, data entry, or related fields.<br>• Proficiency in operating scanning equipment and software.<br>• Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain digital files.<br>• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and file labeling.<br>• Ability to handle confidential documents with professionalism.<br>• Familiarity with back-office support tasks and workflows.<br>• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
