Payroll Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual to manage complex payroll operations, including multi-state payroll processing and union agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll systems and compliance, ensuring accurate categorizations and reporting for W-2 forms.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze payroll data to identify and categorize overtime payments based on union agreements and company policies.<br>• Investigate past payroll corrections and retroactive payments to ensure proper classification and compliance.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline payroll processes across different systems, including time and labor tracking and payroll issuance.<br>• Manage multi-state payroll operations for both union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.<br>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process bi-monthly payroll for over 500 employees.<br>• Prepare detailed reports for W-2 forms, addressing overtime premiums and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.<br>• Monitor payroll activities to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.<br>• Support the team in finalizing payroll processes within the project timeline of 3-4 weeks.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll-related tasks.<br>• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address payroll-related concerns and provide solutions.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll management.<br>• Proficiency in multi-state payroll processing, including union and non-union environments.<br>• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations.<br>• Familiarity with processing payroll for over 500 employees.<br>• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and reporting requirements, including W-2 forms.<br>• Ability to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and retroactive payment issues.<br>• Excellent analytical and organizational skills to manage complex payroll systems.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
