This role requires a skilled individual with strong attention to detail to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with grant requirements, and lead a small team of accounting staff. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role. • Proven expertise in nonprofit and grant accounting, including managing federal, state, and private grants. • Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation. • Experience with audits, including single audits, and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance. • Advanced skills in accounting systems or ERP software and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, with the capacity to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. • High ethical standards and meticulous attention to detail.
