Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting<ul><li>Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable</li><li>Process payroll on a weekly basis</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements</li><li>Manage month-end and year-end close processes</li><li>Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP</li></ul>Job Costing & Project Accounting<ul><li>Oversee job cost accounting and WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting</li><li>Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and variance analysis</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost forecasting</li><li>Support bid analysis and profitability assessments</li></ul>Cash Flow & Budgeting<ul><li>Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital</li><li>Develop and monitor company budgets</li></ul>Leadership & Process Improvement<ul><li>Improve accounting systems and implement scalable processes</li><li>Partner with ownership to support strategic planning and growth initiatives</li></ul>Compliance<ul><li>Coordinate with external CPA for tax preparation and audits</li><li>Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations</li></ul>

Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; may consider experience in exchange for degree</li><li>10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in the construction industry</li><li>Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion accounting</li><li>Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, Foundation, QuickBooks Construction)</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li><li>Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a growing company environment</li></ul>
