We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, including general ledger management, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills, such as working with formulas and pivot tables.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.<br>• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.<br>• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.<br>• Handle fixed asset accounting, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting.<br>• Perform month-end close procedures, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.<br>• Utilize Sage Intacct to streamline and manage accounting tasks effectively.<br>• Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables for financial analysis.<br>• Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations by preparing and filing accurate reports.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in Sage Intacct for accounting processes and reporting.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.<br>• Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close procedures.<br>• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.<br>• Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and depreciation processes.<br>• Ability to prepare and file sales tax reports accurately.<br>• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
