Sr. Accountant
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and post journal entries for routine daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.</li><li>Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Support month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet and income statement review and analysis. Ensure intercompany balances are properly reconciled.</li><li>Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and internal management reports.</li><li>Assist with annual audits by providing schedules, supporting documentation, and explanations for variances.</li><li>Support preparation of bank reporting, covenant calculations, and lender deliverables.</li><li>Perform ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting, and other analytical support as needed.</li><li>Participate in system implementations, consolidated reporting, and accounting related to acquisitions.</li><li>Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.</li><li>Ensure rental equipment and other fixed assets are recorded and depreciated in accordance with company policy.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.</li><li>Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.</li><li>Maintain well-organized, audit-ready financial records and documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Medical/Dental/Vision</li><li>401K</li></ul>
<p><strong>Keys</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.</li><li>5–7 years of experience in multi-entity corporate accounting or public accounting, with responsibility for preparing and issuing financial statements.</li><li>Experience with acquisition accounting, system implementations, and/or integrations strongly preferred.</li><li>Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP.</li><li>Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Texada, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with BI tools or consolidation and reporting systems is a plus.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li></ul><p><br></p>
