<p>We are looking for an experienced Fund Administration Manager to oversee comprehensive fund accounting operations and financial reporting for local government investment pools. This role involves leading a team of skilled accounting professionals, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving process enhancements to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Based in Naperville, Illinois, this position offers a mix of in-office and remote workdays.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and accounting assistants, offering guidance on accounting policies and procedures.</p><p>• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.</p><p>• Resolve outstanding accounting and reconciliation issues promptly and efficiently.</p><p>• Provide support for daily fund accounting tasks, including transaction processing and financial reporting as needed.</p><p>• Coordinate fund audits by preparing schedules, reviewing documentation, and liaising with external auditors.</p><p>• Analyze and review Board Book financial materials for precision and clarity.</p><p>• Conduct expense analyses, variance reporting, and other financial evaluations to aid decision-making.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address accounting-related concerns and maintain accurate reporting.</p><p>• Lead initiatives focused on system improvements, policy updates, and process optimization in accounting operations.</p><p>• Manage multiple deadlines effectively while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.</p><p><br></p><p>Benefits Include.......</p><ul><li>Medical/dental/vision</li><li>401K</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.<br>• Proven expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.<br>• Experience with financial statement audits and journal entry preparation.<br>• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop team members.<br>• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in financial operations.<br>• Proficiency in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Familiarity with fund accounting standards and compliance requirements.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
