We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves leveraging advanced data analytics and financial modeling techniques to support strategic decision-making. Ideal candidates will have expertise in analyzing large datasets and creating impactful data visualizations to drive pricing strategies and rate setting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.<br>• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning.<br>• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.<br>• Create pricing strategies and establish strategic rate-setting models.<br>• Utilize advanced Excel functions to streamline financial processes and enhance data analysis.<br>• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to visualize financial data effectively.<br>• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to address immediate business needs.<br>• Apply data mining techniques to uncover hidden patterns and correlations in financial data.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.<br>• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and documentation.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and data analytics.<br>• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, macros, and formulas.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in developing pricing strategies and rate-setting models.<br>• Strong ability to analyze and interpret large datasets with precision.<br>• Experience in creating data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.<br>• Solid knowledge of variance analysis and forecasting techniques.<br>• Familiarity with data mining methods and their application in financial contexts.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
