We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Senior Accountant to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records for a publicly traded organization. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, providing you with flexibility and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Prepare and post journal entries, verifying the accuracy of financial transactions. • Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls and other regulatory requirements. • Collaborate on the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Support audits and reviews, including those related to public accounting and public company standards. • Assist with financial processes related to public offerings and public finance initiatives. • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and operational efficiency. • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to public accounting or auditing. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance. • Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations. • Familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance and its application in financial reporting. • Experience with financial processes related to public companies, including public offerings and audits. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial data. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with strong Excel skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
