Property Administrator
We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to join a non-profit organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of a residential property, with a strong focus on tenant relations and property upkeep. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to maintaining building standards and addressing tenant concerns.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct regular inspections of the building, including hallways and residential floors, to ensure cleanliness and compliance.<br>• Monitor parking areas for unauthorized vehicles and enforce parking regulations.<br>• Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all processes align with fair housing laws.<br>• Address tenant inquiries and concerns with professionalism, including resolving parking and space-related issues.<br>• Collaborate with the operations manager to maintain the property’s standards and address priority tasks.<br>• Perform building sweeps to confirm hallways are free of obstructions and ensure vehicles in the parking lot have proper permits.<br>• Provide support during property tours and assist with tenant onboarding processes.<br>• Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations and address any violations promptly.<br>• Communicate weekly priorities and updates with team members to ensure smooth operations.<br>• Handle training sessions to familiarize new employees with property procedures and standards.
• Previous experience in residential property management or leasing consultancy.<br>• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.<br>• Familiarity with Yardi software for property management.<br>• Excellent communication skills, particularly in managing tenant relationships and resolving disputes.<br>• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as walking through buildings and inspecting parking areas.<br>• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.<br>• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.<br>• Experience in handling difficult conversations and enforcing property policies.
