Responsibilities:• Manage month-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.• Supervise the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.• Oversee the creation and review of journal entries to maintain financial accuracy.• Coordinate financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.• Monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls.• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and attention to detail.• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making within the organization.• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.• Utilize RealPage software for financial reporting and property management tasks.• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA or CMA designation is preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. • Experience in residential real estate management is highly advantageous. • Proficiency in month-end close, general ledger management, and financial audits. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation. • Familiarity with RealPage software or similar accounting platforms.
