Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have experience managing high-volume payment processing. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring seamless cash posting operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Accurately post payments to customer accounts, ensuring proper application and reconciliation.<br>• Manage and process a high volume of transactions, handling up to 200 payments daily after training.<br>• Utilize specialized software, including Excel and CollectionMaster, for tracking and reporting purposes.<br>• Perform full-cycle accounts receivable tasks, including check reconciliation and payment verification.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in payment processing.<br>• Maintain meticulous attention to detail to uphold the integrity of financial records.<br>• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in payment applications.<br>• Support team operations by adhering to established workflows and timelines.
• Previous experience in high-volume payment processing, such as banking or cash handling roles.<br>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems like CollectionMaster.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.<br>• Basic understanding of accounts receivable and billing functions.<br>• Comfortable learning new systems and tools related to financial operations.
