Legal Assistant
We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Assistant with a minimum of three years of experience to join our team in Miami, Florida. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing deadlines, collaborating effectively in a team environment, and maintaining a strong work ethic. The role requires expertise in legal documentation, scheduling, and court filings to support civil and commercial litigation processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle e-filing processes for legal documents in compliance with court requirements.<br>• Manage litigation calendars, including scheduling deadlines, hearings, and appointments.<br>• Draft and format legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Coordinate and prepare court filings across various jurisdictions.<br>• Maintain organized records and ensure all case-related documentation is accessible.<br>• Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure smooth workflow and communication.<br>• Conduct administrative support tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.<br>• Assist in tracking case progress and ensuring deadlines are met.<br>• Provide support for civil and commercial litigation matters.<br>• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and tasks.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in civil or commercial litigation.<br>• Proficiency in e-filing systems and processes.<br>• Strong skills in calendar and schedule management.<br>• Experience drafting legal documents with precision.<br>• Familiarity with court filing procedures and requirements.<br>• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.<br>• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
