Front Desk Coordinator
<p>We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Metairie, Louisiana. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills to manage daily administrative tasks efficiently.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet visitors and clients warmly, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.</p><p>• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are routed accurately and promptly.</p><p>• Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries or escalating issues when necessary.</p><p>• Maintain and update records using Microsoft Word and other office software.</p><p>• Coordinate daily schedules and appointments to ensure seamless operations.</p><p>• Assist with general office duties, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.</p><p>• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area.</p><p>• Provide administrative support to team members as required.</p><p>• Ensure confidentiality when handling sensitive information and documents.</p>
• Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles, preferably in an office setting that values attention to detail.<br>• Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients and team members.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and basic office software.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.<br>• A demeanor that reflects reliability and the ability to maintain confidentiality.<br>• Availability to work the specified hours, Monday through Friday.
