We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to oversee the daily financial operations of our organization in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a small business environment and has a strong background in managing comprehensive accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and efficiency. • Prepare and issue billing and invoices, ensuring timely payments and proper documentation. • Oversee payroll operations, including calculations, deductions, and compliance with regulations. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records. • Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and general ledger reviews. • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements. • Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights for business decisions. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Collaborate with management to support budgeting and forecasting activities. • Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and reviews.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comprehensive accounting role. • Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliations. • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting. • Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Construction industry experience is preferred but not required. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
