Senior Accountant
<p>We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our healthcare organization in Germantown, Tennessee. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. You will play a key part in maintaining compliance, improving processes, and supporting the organization’s financial goals.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial statements and reports on a regular basis.</p><p>• Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely completion.</p><p>• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure proper maintenance of financial records.</p><p>• Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Assist in the development and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial variances.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal reporting standards and organizational policies.</p><p>• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and address queries.</p><p>• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls.</p><p>• Provide support for tax preparation and filings as required.</p>
• Proven expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and reconciliation practices.<br>• Proficiency in managing journal entries and accrual accounting.<br>• Experience in account and bank reconciliations.<br>• Advanced skills in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.<br>• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements.<br>• Ability to collaborate effectively with auditors and external teams.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations.
