We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities:• Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees and weekly off-cycle payrolls.• Process and verify deductions • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions and benefits.• Review and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries efficiently.• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll integration.• Prepare payroll reports and documentation for audits and management review.• 401k Administration: Reconcile and submit payroll-related data for 401(k) plans, including loans, employer match calculations, auto-enrollment, and compliance with plan rules. Prepare and file the annual Form 5500 and support annual 401(K) audit. • Implement and monitor payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency.• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.• Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll-related questions.
