Project Manager
<p>Project Manager – User Experience (Internal Systems)</p><p><strong>Contract-to-Hire | Onsite in Middleton, WI (3 days/week)</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Project Manager</strong> to lead internal user experience improvement initiatives. This is a highly visible role working with IT, desktop, and architecture teams to ensure end users’ voices are heard and improvements are executed. The focus is on driving continuous change, creating structure around feedback, and presenting actionable solutions to leadership.</p><p><br></p><p>What You’ll Do</p><ul><li>Lead the creation of a new internal User Experience team.</li><li>Assess desktops, PCs, conference rooms, and other internal devices used by staff to identify and resolve user pain points.</li><li>Drive change management by questioning existing processes and improving workflows for end users.</li><li>Gather feedback, build a backlog of improvements, and ensure items are taken through completion.</li><li>Partner with leadership to present findings and secure alignment on priorities.</li><li>Collaborate closely with a team of 5–7 and interact with executives across the organization.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Must-Have Qualifications</p><ul><li>7<strong>+ years of Project Management experience</strong></li><li>with demonstrated maturity in pushing back on established teams.</li><li>Strong background in <strong>user experience–focused project management</strong> with a customer-first mindset.</li><li><strong>Exposure to Scrum</strong> and agile methodologies.</li><li><strong>People leadership skills</strong>—while not managing direct reports, must be able to lead meetings, gather requirements, and drive accountability.</li><li>A mindset of <strong>ownership</strong>: treating end-user experience like it’s your own business.</li><li><strong>Technical proficiency</strong> in running boards, data analysis, and documentation.</li></ul><p><br></p>
