Desktop Support Analyst
<p>We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, providing hands-on technical support to ensure smooth operations. You will play a vital role in managing devices, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users with their technical needs.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and stage devices for onboarding new and existing users, ensuring proper setup.</p><p>• Address deskside support needs and assist with IT service tickets, including Level 1 and light Level 2 tasks.</p><p>• Perform hardware replacements, desktop imaging, and device installations to maintain functionality.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members in real-time to resolve technical issues efficiently.</p><p>• Manage Active Directory user group updates and modifications.</p><p>• Work alongside the team to deploy software and manage devices using standard tools.</p><p>• Provide backup support for colleagues during scheduling adjustments or transitions.</p><p>• Troubleshoot hardware and software concerns, ensuring prompt resolution of user issues.</p><p>• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.</p>
• At least 2 years of experience in desktop and device support, including PCs, laptops, and hardware troubleshooting.<br>• Hands-on expertise with desktop imaging, hardware replacements, and device setups.<br>• Familiarity with Active Directory for managing user groups and permissions.<br>• Proficiency with tools such as SCCM and Office 365.<br>• Strong customer service skills with at least 1 year of experience in a support-oriented role.<br>• Ability to handle service desk tickets and triage tasks effectively.<br>• Knowledge of computer hardware and workstation configurations.<br>• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate within a team environment.
