We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Libertyville, Illinois. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop a comprehensive product backlog, and contribute to the early-stage planning of a new initiative. This is a short-term, three-month opportunity, ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and expertise in requirements gathering.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for the project.<br>• Build and maintain a detailed product backlog to support project objectives.<br>• Partner with product managers, technical leads, and designers to align on project priorities and timelines.<br>• Facilitate discussions with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and thorough requirements gathering.<br>• Review project artifacts and provide guidance to ensure alignment with business goals.<br>• Conduct demonstrations of new features and prepare clear documentation for updates and implementations.<br>• Monitor project risks and issues, ensuring open communication across all teams.<br>• Support the implementation process by coordinating with developers and quality assurance teams.

• Proven experience in requirements gathering and backlog management.<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.<br>• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.<br>• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA for project management.<br>• Experience in conducting gap analysis to identify and address business needs.<br>• Ability to review and document system requirements and processes.<br>• Background in Fintech or AI is a plus but not required.
