We are looking for a dedicated Controller to join our team in Lexington, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, manage a small team, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes. This role requires a strong leader who is approachable, detail-oriented, and experienced in either construction or manufacturing industries. Responsibilities:• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of four people.• Oversee job costing, scheduling, and related financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.• Maintain and manage document control processes, including document scanning and compilation.• Provide timely and accurate financial reports to support decision-making.• Collaborate with internal teams to address financial inquiries and ensure compliance with company policies.• Monitor and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance performance.• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company requirements in all financial operations.• Facilitate the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.

• Proven experience in a Controller or similar financial management role. • Background in construction or manufacturing industries is highly preferred. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a small team effectively. • Proficiency in document control, including scanning and organizing financial documents. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. • Familiarity with job costing and scheduling processes. • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial team members. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
