Collections Specialist
We are looking for a motivated Collections Specialist to join our team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals skilled in managing commercial accounts and delivering exceptional customer service. The role focuses on ensuring timely collections while maintaining strong and detail-oriented relationships with clients.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage commercial accounts to ensure timely and accurate collections of outstanding balances.<br>• Communicate with clients in a detail-oriented manner to resolve payment issues and maintain positive business relationships.<br>• Utilize established collection processes to achieve set financial goals and targets.<br>• Identify and address discrepancies in payment records and account statuses.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline collection activities and improve efficiency.<br>• Maintain detailed records of collection activities and account updates.<br>• Monitor aging accounts and prioritize collection efforts based on risk and value.<br>• Provide excellent customer service while negotiating payment plans and resolving disputes.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations throughout the collection process.
• Proven experience in collections, with a focus on commercial accounts.<br>• Familiarity with consumer and commercial collection processes.<br>• Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively with clients.<br>• Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate records of collection activities.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve organizational goals.<br>• Knowledge of relevant policies and regulations governing collections.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br>• High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
