Accounting Manager
<p>We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for a premier client here in the KC area! Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role will focus on accuracy, compliance, process improvement, and management of the operational accounting team. Please reach out to Molly Gardner today for more info! 816-601-1196</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Oversee centralized payroll, receivables, and payables operations.</li><li>Supervise, mentor, and develop a team - strong team already in place!</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.</li><li>Champion ERP implementation and related finance systems.</li><li>Monitor KPIs and manage financial reporting compliance.</li><li>Coordinate audits and establish strong internal controls.</li><li>Ensure payroll adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
<p>What You Bring:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.</li><li>8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site setting.</li><li>Proven leadership and team development skills.</li><li>Expertise with large ERP systems is critical.</li><li>Knowledge of payroll, receivables, and payables processes.</li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills; commitment to continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p>
