We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Lathrop, California. This is a long-term contract position within the non-profit industry, offering an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in managing cash applications and accounts receivable processes. If you have a strong background in financial operations and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process incoming payments accurately and promptly, ensuring proper allocation to customer accounts.<br>• Manage and maintain accounts receivable records, reconciling discrepancies as needed.<br>• Post cash receipts and payments, verifying all transactions for accuracy.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and ensure customer satisfaction.<br>• Monitor payment trends and prepare regular reports on cash application activity.<br>• Utilize financial systems to update and track payment information efficiently.<br>• Assist with audits and compliance checks related to cash applications.<br>• Identify opportunities to streamline cash application processes for improved efficiency.<br>• Provide support to the accounting team in handling other financial tasks as required.

• At least 2 years of experience in cash applications or accounts receivable roles.<br>• Proficiency in cash posting and payment processing methods.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reconciling financial discrepancies.<br>• Familiarity with financial systems and software used in cash applications.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.<br>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers.<br>• Knowledge of compliance standards and auditing practices in financial operations.
