We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. As a key contributor to our finance team, you will help maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:• Process and verify a high volume of invoices for goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies.• Schedule and execute timely payments, including electronic transfers and checks, while maintaining accuracy.• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors by addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate records.• Organize and maintain accounts payable documentation for audit readiness and compliance.• Support month-end close processes by preparing reports and assisting with financial documentation.• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.• Collaborate with auditors by providing required documentation and responding to inquiries.• Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite and bill.com to manage vendor accounts effectively. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. • Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite and bill.com. • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks. • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and team members.
