This role involves overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing a team to deliver accurate and timely payroll services. Responsibilities: • Supervise payroll processes to ensure timely and precise compensation for employees. • Lead and mentor the payroll team, fostering growth and adherence to best practices. • Conduct detailed reviews of payroll data and reports to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations as well as company policies. • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to address payroll-related issues and inquiries. • Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems, particularly UKG Pro or similar platforms. • Prepare detailed reports and analyses to support decision-making by senior management. • Manage payroll operations for a workforce exceeding 500 employees. • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audits.

• Minimum of 8 years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. • Strong expertise with payroll systems such as UKG Pro, Ceridian, or similar platforms. • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance standards. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proven ability to lead a team and manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment. • Familiarity with payroll management for large employee groups (500+ preferred). • Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments. • Previous contract experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to short-term roles.
