Payroll Supervisor/Manager
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our team on a 12-week contract basis in Lakewood, Colorado. This role involves overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing a team to deliver accurate and timely payroll services. If you have a proven track record in payroll management and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Supervise payroll processes to ensure timely and precise compensation for employees.<br>• Lead and mentor the payroll team, fostering growth and adherence to best practices.<br>• Conduct detailed reviews of payroll data and reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations as well as company policies.<br>• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to address payroll-related issues and inquiries.<br>• Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems, particularly UKG Pro or similar platforms.<br>• Prepare detailed reports and analyses to support decision-making by senior management.<br>• Manage payroll operations for a workforce exceeding 500 employees.<br>• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audits.
• Minimum of 8 years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.<br>• Strong expertise with payroll systems such as UKG Pro, Ceridian, or similar platforms.<br>• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance standards.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Proven ability to lead a team and manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment.<br>• Familiarity with payroll management for large employee groups (500+ preferred).<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.<br>• Previous contract experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to short-term roles.
