Staff Accountant
We are looking for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our team in Ladson, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting payroll and employee onboarding processes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong background in accounting and HR-related tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Review, code, and record invoices while ensuring proper documentation.<br>• Prepare and execute wire transfers for vendor payments and other financial obligations.<br>• Manage payroll processes, including calculation and distribution of employee wages.<br>• Handle HR-related responsibilities such as benefits administration and onboarding new hires.<br>• Ensure compliance with corporate and sales tax regulations by preparing necessary filings.<br>• Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries and reconciling accounts.<br>• Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and other financial reports.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address accounting discrepancies and improve processes.
• Experience with corporate and sales tax filings and regulations.<br>• Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns and handling related documentation.<br>• Strong skills in recording journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.<br>• Familiarity with payroll systems and HR processes, including benefits administration.<br>• Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable functions effectively.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
