We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Manager to lead the operations of our accounts payable department in Irving, Texas. This role involves managing a dynamic team, overseeing payment processes, and ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable management, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities:• Supervise the daily activities of the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including 3-way matching, invoice processing, vendor account reconciliation, and payment scheduling.• Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal teams to enhance collaboration and resolve issues.• Ensure compliance with financial deadlines and deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders.• Utilize technology and automation tools to streamline accounts payable processes and improve operational efficiency.• Monitor vendor accounts regularly, addressing discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve workflow and compliance.• Provide training, mentorship, and support to accounts payable staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.• Prepare detailed monthly and annual financial reports for management review.• Participate in the preparation and execution of annual audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including VLookups, IF statements, and pivot tables.• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.• Familiarity with automated payment systems and ACH processes.
