Sr. Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a long-term contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the organization's financial processes are efficient and compliant.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.<br>• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external reporting.<br>• Conduct account and bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.<br>• Support financial operations and reporting for acquired entities, ensuring proper integration and alignment.<br>• Assist in maintaining the financial health of the core partner company.<br>• Collaborate with teams to improve financial processes and ensure timely reporting.<br>• Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage financial tasks effectively.<br>• Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.<br>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Proven experience in accounting, including month-end close and general ledger management.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software.<br>• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.<br>• Experience with account and bank reconciliations.<br>• Ability to manage multiple entities and consolidate financial information.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.<br>• Strong organizational and communication abilities.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
