We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's accounting team. This role is ideal for a meticulous individual seeking to expand their expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment. You will handle a variety of accounting tasks across multiple entities, providing valuable insights and ensuring financial accuracy. Responsibilities:• Manage general ledger activities, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.• Perform job costing analysis and provide support for training in this area, as needed.• Coordinate payroll uploads and assist with onboarding processes for a workforce that includes seasonal marina staff.• Handle accounts payable processes in the absence of a dedicated AP specialist.• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor daily cash transactions to maintain financial transparency.• Oversee month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and precise reporting.• Work across multiple entities, including land development, rental properties, home building, and marina operations.• Contribute to a positive team culture while learning from experienced colleagues in a supportive environment.

• Proven experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and journal entries. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with job costing or a willingness to learn. • Ability to handle payroll coordination and onboarding tasks effectively. • Knowledge of accounts payable processes and related workflows. • Comfortable working within diverse business entities and industries. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
