Interim Controller
We are looking for an experienced Interim Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Huntersville, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and has a strong background in accounting and finance, who can seamlessly step into managing day-to-day financial operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth transfer of knowledge and maintaining the functionality of our financial processes during a transitional period.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee and manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.<br>• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable operations efficiently.<br>• Perform cost accounting and inventory accounting tasks to maintain precise records.<br>• Manage manufacturing cost accounting processes to support operational needs.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper financial controls and compliance.<br>• Provide guidance and support during the knowledge transfer process.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements to aid in business decision-making.<br>• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and processes.<br>• Streamline accounting procedures to improve efficiency during the transition.<br>• Ensure all regulatory and audit requirements are met.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management.<br>• Expertise in cost accounting and inventory accounting.<br>• Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting practices.<br>• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and operations.<br>• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.<br>• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.<br>• Proven ability to handle transitional roles and knowledge transfer processes.
